The data in our possession is collected and processed in full compliance with the aforementioned Regulation, including the confidentiality obligations it prescribes.

Purpose and Method of Data Processing
Personal data provided or collected will be processed solely within the scope of the Controller’s business activities for the following purposes:
- Managing the contractual relationship with the user concerning the services offered through the PLAITOUR app;
- Compliance with legal obligations arising from the contractual relationship;
Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for processing the user’s personal data includes:
Performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, specifically for the service provided via the PLAITOUR app, or the implementation of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
Compliance with legal obligations arising from said contract and binding on the Controller;
Recipients and Categories of Data Recipients
The personal data provided by the data subject will be disclosed, solely within Italy or other EU countries, and exclusively for the purposes indicated above, to the following categories:
- Financial institutions or intermediaries for matters related to commercial relationships (e.g. payment tracking);
- Accountants and legal advisors assisting the Controller;
- IT service providers managing the Controller’s infrastructure (e.g. cloud services, Google Maps API).

Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal
Providing personal data such as first and last name, email address, phone number is mandatory for registering with the PLAITOUR app and using its serves.
Failure to provide such data, or later refusal to allow processing, will prevent the Controller from fulfilling or continuing the contract, and therefore, prevent the user from using the service.
Cookies and PWA Functionality
The PLAITOUR app, as a Progressive Web App (PWA), uses:
Technical cookies: strictly necessary for navigation, user login, and core app functions (language, etc).
Analytical or third-party cookies: used only with the user’s explicit consent to analyze usage and improve service performance.
Users may manage cookie preferences via the app interface or their device/browser settings.
Data Retention
Personal data processed for the fulfillment of the contract will be retained only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the relevant purposes, and in any case, no longer than five (5) years from the termination of the contract (as required by legal limitation periods) or a longer period in the event of legal claims.
Data processed to fulfill legal obligations will be retained for the period set by applicable law.
Data Subject Rights
Under the Regulation, the user, as data subject, has the right to:
- Request access to their personal data and related information;
- Request rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
- Request the erasure of personal data, within the limits provided by Article 15 of the Regulation;
- Request restriction of processing;
- Receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability);
- Object to the processing of personal data on grounds relating to their particular situation;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint
Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data violates the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take legal action as provided for in Article 79.
